The Flosser Go has 4 pressure settings — start with the lowest setting and gradually increase as your gums adapt. The pulsating water stream is gentler than the sawing motion of string floss, which can cut into sensitive gum tissue. If your gums bleed initially, this is common and usually improves within 1-2 weeks of consistent use. If bleeding persists beyond 2 weeks, consult a dentist.

You can add a small amount of alcohol-free mouthwash to the water for a fresher feeling, but we do not recommend using undiluted mouthwash or alcohol-based mouthwash as the sole fluid. Alcohol can dry out oral tissue and damage the device's internal seals over time. After using mouthwash in the tank, rinse the tank and internal tubing with clean water to prevent residue buildup. Do not use essential oil-based mouthwashes (like Listerine) undiluted, as they can degrade the device's materials.

Yes, you can use any toothpaste with Glossonic electric toothbrushes. However, for optimal whitening results, we recommend using Glossonic's PAP whitening toothpaste, which is formulated to work synergistically with the brush's sonic vibration and blue light technology. If you use a whitening toothpaste with peroxide, be aware that it may increase sensitivity. Avoid using extremely abrasive toothpastes (high RDA value) as they can wear enamel over time.
